My mom sent me a photo of a Oil Painting I did for her years ago. I thought I would show all of you how I used to paint.
sorry for a small scan but that is how it came.

Some day I will buy oil paints again. It is also a matter of where to paint too, the fumes and mess is not a good idea right now.

Beautiful painting, Judy - you should try acrylics, you can use the same techniques without the fuss and muss. :)

My mother has a bunch of my paintings up in her living room too, but NOTHING that I would like to show here. Her taste is art is, shall we say, droll and boring!

Thank you, Oh I have used acrylics too, must find the photos of murals I painte on my brother and sister in law's wall, and my sister's and brother in laws walls. I will look for them tomorrow for ya. :)

Thank you, yes the mess and fumes and for some reason I have the dropsies lately, we have cream carpet in my office/art/guest room. Right now it is a kitty nursery.lol No way could I have turpentine here. Yes clean up was not at all fun. Yuck
